What
is
Topographia?

Topographia uses layers and layers of mixed media materials to recreate dynamic planetary terrains influenced by geologic time and processes.

Topographia explores the natural world through experimentation, innovation, and a whole lotta patience and time.

Topographia partners with the physical forces of gravity and fluid dynamics, allowing them space to show us their creative side.

Topographia collaborates with the elements of water, earth, wind, and flame, honoring their materialistic nature and their energetic spirit.

Topographia is a technique, a process, an art style, an artist's very soul.

Interests

I revel in digging through local history archives and karst cave formations alike. Input the natural, sensory world- output the creative arts like mixed media art, or a short film, or a really cool gift to give and share with my loves. I enjoy projects with a challenge to take me out of my comfort zone, and in that space having a friend is handy and fun so the more the merrier. I LOVE to collab and improv in the present moment with other artists and also the rain, wind, gravity, and temperature...the variables to coordinate this present moment are infinite but art is finite so somewhere in between maybe we can exist forever...
